AeroMount is co-chairing UL’s newly formed Fan Component Sustainability Working Group, tasked with drafting UL 9002: Standard for Environmental Life Cycle Assessment of Structural Fan Mounting Systems.
The standard will define consistent metrics for embodied carbon, end-of-life recyclability, thermal degradation resistance, and service-life modeling—addressing long-standing gaps in green procurement frameworks.
Expected publication in Q4 2024, UL 9002 aims to become the benchmark for ESG reporting and eco-labeling across global appliance supply chains.
